Veterans Day Program

Mr. Lee Jordan (Father of Melita Jordan-Thomas, Principal) told students to do their best and never give up on their dreams.  Mr. Jordan also shared some of his experiences he had in the military.  He gave a soul-stirring message to NEP students!

Southeast Success Academy

Friday, October 29, 2011 was a very busy day for the students and staff of Southeast Success Academy.  Students and staff participated in a Breast Cancer walk over to Newberry Elementary School, where the students distributed treat bags to the kindergarten and 1st grade students. Southeast Success Academy also supported Team Innovators by donating $100 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. After completing the Breast Cancer Walk, we then had our second twenty day Fight Free Celebration in conjunction with our Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) Celebration. Thanks to our Chef Coach Pulley for grilling hotdogs and hamburgers, students and staff enjoyed good food and sodas plus had an opportunity to select a free book of their choice to take home for reading pleasure.
